Intimate Ampersand Estate Elopement | A Romantic Midweek Wedding in South West WA
Zoey & Celeste - 18th March 2026
There’s something incredibly special about choosing to do things differently. Stripping everything back. Letting go of expectations. And creating a day that feels completely, undeniably yours.
This beautiful elopement at Ampersand Estate was exactly that.
Held on a quiet Wednesday evening, this wasn’t a wedding built around timelines or traditions, it was built around intention. Just the two of them, surrounded by eight of their closest friends, tucked away in one of the most stunning pockets of South West WA. It felt private, calm, and deeply personal from the very beginning.
No rushing. No pressure. Just space to be present.
The entire day unfolded slowly, in the most effortless way.
There was no strict schedule to follow, no moments being pulled forward or rushed along. Instead, everything happened naturally, conversations lingering, laughter filling the space, and those quiet in-between moments that often become the most meaningful.
It felt grounded. Honest. Real.
Their ceremony was intimate in every sense of the word. Married by Tina, it was heartfelt, emotional, and completely centred around them, their story, their connection, and the life they’re building together. With only their closest people standing beside them, every word carried weight. Every glance, every smile, every tear felt amplified in the best possible way.
As the evening began to settle in, the light turned into something truly magical. Golden hour at Ampersand Estate is always beautiful but this one felt different. Softer. Slower. Almost like time paused for a moment just for them. We stepped away for photos, letting everything unfold naturally. Nothing overly posed, nothing forced, just the two of them, soaking it all in, wrapped in that golden light. Those quiet, unspoken moments are always the ones that stay with you.
After their portraits, the evening continued in the most thoughtful way.
While we were off capturing those final moments, their friends had been preparing something special back at the Homestead, a beautifully set dinner, ready to welcome them back. It was warm, intentional, and filled with so much love. The kind of setting that makes you pause and take it all in.
Candles. Good food. The people who matter most.
This wasn’t a big wedding.
It wasn’t about a packed dance floor or a detailed timeline.
It was about connection. Presence. Slowing down and truly experiencing every part of the day.
And because of that, it felt incredibly meaningful.
A reminder that your wedding doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
It can be quiet.
It can be small.
It can be simple.
And it can still be, everything.
